Lyrics:

En primer lugar para romper con la hipocresía.

El consumo de cannabis ya en un hecho social generalizado.

Todo mundo, reconoce, que puede acceder sin el menor problema, al consumo del cannabis.

-------

In the first place to break with hypocrisy.

Cannabis use is already a widespread social fact.

Everyone recognizes that they can access cannabis consumption without the slightest problem.

It's time for some quality music, so here it is Camea's podcast made exclusively for MedellinStyle GMID, for her upcoming performance on August 31, 2013. This are 60 minutes of pure pasion, quality music, a very unique style and of course Camea's modern house and techno sound, Enjoy.

Biography of Camea:
Her sound can be described as Seattle cool meets Brooklyn edge meets Berlin chic, and it has secured her a regular tour schedule worldwide. Camea was born and raised in Seattle as a classical and jazz pianist and music enthusiast, and in her youth she studied a variety of instruments and played in several bands. She started collecting records and experimenting with electronic music in the late 90s, and in 2002 she relocated to Brooklyn, NY, where the city's intense artistic environment deeply inspired her. Her passion for collecting and playing music continued to evolve as she acquired several regular club nights in Manhattan and spawned Clink Recordings, and on Friday evenings she had a radio show with Ambivalent (M_nus, Ovum) on East Village Radio. Eventually Camea began to tour internationally and moved to Berlin in 2007, where she still resides today and is currently signed to Bpitch Control, one of the world's premier underground labels that can be credited in the evolution of artists like Ellen Allien, Paul Kalkbrenner, Apparat and Modeselektor.

Camea is a passionate performer and blends her more traditional musician roots with classic and modern house and techno. Her tracks have topped sales and DJ charts on many occasions, and she has been center stage at many of the world’s hottest clubs and festivals. Even though DJing has stayed the forefront of Camea's passion, when she is not touring she spends most of her time in her studio in Berlin. She released her first solo EP in 2006 and has achieved a lengthy discography of original work and/or remixes on labels like Bpitch Control, M_nus, Clink, Soma, Plus 8 and Get Physical. Since her relocation to Berlin Camea has become one of the handful of women from America to make it to the International stage for her genre.

Something about Olivier Giacomotto:
International DJ, charting producer, in-demand remixer, Beatport Music Awards nominee, Olivier Giacomotto is a proven integral player of the electronic music scene. In the last 5 years, his top quality productions all received instant accreditation coming from worldwide djs and he has become today one of the most in demand artists on the market, demonstrating the talent behind the decks that he has crafted over the last years in the world’s most famous venues. Partner of John Acquaviva, they regularly tour the world together presenting the unique warm funk fueled tech house sound of their label: Definitive Recordings.
Olivier’s unwavering determination to push boundaries sets him apart from the sea of other hopefuls and his talent span far beyond the tech-house that’s brought him to international acclaim. Between the hits, he regularly licensed tracks for top-selling video games, Hollywood box office movies, and produced for pop and reggae artists selling hundred thousands of copies. Always one step ahead, the future is looking bright for this multi-talented and ambitious young star.

Something about Xpansul:
Santiago Ferrer, also known as Xpansul, started djing in 1993. Since then, he has played in most of the biggest clubs and festivals all over Spain, Europe and the Americas.
Xpansul’s sound as a dj is techno, his sets are a journey through electronic dance music, in which the “axis” Detroit-Chicago-Berlin-Cologne is the driver and all his other musical influences are the passengers.
Since 1998, Santi starts writing and producing music as well, getting a really good response from the crowd and critics to his first releases on labels such as Audiodrome, Options, Isoghi, Syl.Label or Soundplant, sometimes working solo and sometimes with his partner Daweed.
In 2003 Xpansul starts his own labels Discos De Lata and MSX manged along Daweed and Miguel Mendoza respectively, which has taken him to a solid position as a producer and label manager on an international level, thanks to the success achieved by his releases on this labels and other releases on Software Records, Sindicato Records and Random Dynamics.
And it was back then when Xpansul met well respected producer Alexi Delano and they started a series of collaborations, both original tracks and remixes, that have been put out on labels such as Plus 8, Truesoul, Frankie Recs Trapez and Leftroom, taking Xpansul one step ahead in his already promising career.
From then on Xpansul’s calendar becomes, more than busy, hectic, showing his dj skills all over the world and receiving a great, warm welcome everywhere he’s gone. All this, added to his releases on Ovum, Soma Quality Recordings, Ad Ltd., Minuendo, or his own Discos De Lata confirmed Xpansul as a true solid value in the electronic dance music scene worldwide.

2009 is the year where new things have to happen, so Xpansul opens new label, True Type Tracks, along Daweed, and starts performing live sets in order to open himself to a new path of musical expression, a way to keep growing as a musician, to establish himself as an artist that is here to stay.

Chris Liebing had his first Residency as a DJ in a small club called "Red Brick" 1991 in Giessen, near Frankfurt. There he was playing all sorts of music from Soul, Hip Hop and Pop to House. In 1993, buying his records at Downtown Records in Giessen, he discovered the more electronic side of music, and one year later, he decided to open up a Techno Club, called "Spinclub".
Already beginning of 1995 the club had to close down and Chris began working for Eye -Q Records in Frankfurt. During that period, he met his friend and partner Andre Walter. Together they started to built up a studio and worked on music. Later that year, the first record on Global Ambition was released. Also together with Tommy Bingel from Downtown Records and Toni Rios, they founded the house Label SOAP.

Tommy Four Seven, After studying Music Technology in London, Tommy moved to Berlin and has been steadily building his catalogue of strong, moody and hypnotic tracks such as his 2009 hit, 'Surma' on Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe and more recently, 'Sor' on CLR, not forgetting the before mysterious 'Bauhaus' project with Chris Liebing. Tommy’s approach to music is unlike a musician. Instead, he prefers to sound design, recording and sculpting elements into deep engaging atmospheres. An impressive example of this extraordinary production ethos is his upcoming debut artist album “Primate”. It will be released on CLR in March 2011, which looks set to be his landmark year.
Monoloc started to produce his first records in 2001. A few years later he moved to a proper studio to ziro in on his music productions. The new place and his inspiring studio neighbors created a perfect environment so that he was able to upgrade his skills increasingly.
He released already on labels like CLR, Synewave, MultiVitamins, Micro.fon and Droid for example who get thrilled by his deep minimalistic techno sound consists of organic and sometimes dark vocal elements. His keen sense for good sound let him always know how to produce tracks with his special personal touch or how to create a great ambiance for the dancefloor .
Rebekah’s passion is burning bright for techno and electronic music, inspired by Dave Clarke, Derrick Carter, Richie Hawtin and Billy Nasty in her teens at the legendary Que Club in Birmingham. She has recently played at MOS, Fabric, Back to Basics, Atomic Jam, Public Life, Guendalina Italy, Coolhouse, Shindig, Awakenings and Exit. Her residency in Birmingham for the Eclectricity events has seen her play for Cocoon parties alongside Sven Vath, Dubfire, Loco Dice, Marco Carola and Luciano. Adam Beyer sites Drumcodes 1 (Planet Rhythm 1995) as the first record to define his style; hard, percussive and loop oriented. This 12" names Beyer´s future label and was soon followed by his critically acclaimed debut album Decoded (Planet Rhythm 1996). His need to create the perfect dj tool gave rise to the launch of the Drumcode label allowing him total musical freedom. The label´s strong concept and high production levels meant it enjoyed immediate success. After six releases Beyer launched his second label Code Red focusing on a slightly softer side of techno. Code Red finished with its 10 th and final release Stand Down (Code Red 1999) which was a compilation of remixes from various international artists.
His production skills soon brought Beyer to the attention of djs worldwide and global bookings soon followed. His meteoric rise has been cited as one of the catalysts for Swedish techno´s current influence. He pinpoints the Stockholm sound as being closely linked to his network of friends in the city aswell as the triumvirate of himself, Joel Mull and Cari Lekebusch. After many releases and remixes on various labels he launched the second album Protechtion (Drumcode 1999). While the market was being flooded with monoton loop oriented techno Beyer worked on strengthening the arrangements that characterised his earlier works, aswell as adding melodic strings. Still with a clear focus on the dance floor.
The same year Adam Beyer and Cari Lekebusch linked up to create a stunning live act first witnessed in London to instant acclaim. The act created the intense feeling of a creative dj set while the duo played back to back mixing their production styles.

It would take a long essay to fully explain UMEK’s meaning to electronic music. The Slovenian born producer and DJ has been setting trends and rocking dance floors for two decades now - and still shows no signs of slowing down. He’s tireless in his techno and tech house production and with more than 100 gigs per year, probably one of the busiest techno DJs out there.
He’s not only been rocking our ears with his own productions for labels like Toolroom, Spinnin, Great Stuff, Intec and many more, but has also been heavily involved in choosing who to sign to his arty imprint 1605, which mostly supports young and talented artists who haven’t yet made it on the global party scene.

Having conquered most of world’s biggest stages and festivals, UMEK started his own weekly radio show “Behind the Iron Curtain,” which immediately landed on dozens of the world’s hippest EDM radio stations.
Although he probably holds a national record for the number of flights per year, UMEK still finds time for charity. Every August he hosts a charity event called “Party with a Cause,” where local sponsors help raise money for a certain cause, mostly to help underprivileged youth.

Tom Hades started to discover and experiment with electronic music when listening to DAF, Kraftwerk, Front 242, ... At the age of 15, he bought his first keyboard, the famous Casio CZ-101 and transformed his game-computer, Amiga 500, into his first DAW. Quickly he got experienced with MIDI-integration and sampling functions, which gave him even more urge for buying/selling new material as addition to his current setup. During the same period, his old schoolfriend, RedHead, was co-producing with Marco Bailey. He got in contact with Marco too which led them in 2000 to their first co-release. And this was the start of a big period of releases, included the anthem of "I Love Techno" in 2001. Have a look at the discography for the complete overview ... In the same year as I Love Techno, Tom started to do live performances. He got more & more experienced and started to play all over the world. His live performance was fully appreciated in countries like Spain, Colombia, Brazil, France, Poland, Sweden, Mexico, Japan, Austria, Italy, Norway, Ireland, ... and on many known festivals like Nature One, I Love Techno, City Parade, ... In the first period of 2002, Tom also produced his first solo release. In the next 3-4 years he continued to produce tracks on his own as well as his co-production with Marco on respected labels like MB Elektronics, Pornographic Recordings, Rhythm Convert, Northwest Dynamics, Invasion, Fine Audio, Patterns, Lupp, ... In 2004, they decided it was time to take the next step, start a label. And so Rhythm Convert was born. Initially, the purpose of the label was to give an opportunity to new talents to release their stuff. Guys like Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Veztax, ... did a very good job to show the people what is was all about. Nowadays, the label is more aimed to produce electro-techno tracks and less oriented towards loopy techno sounds. End 2004, they released their full album, Rude Boy, caused a stirr all over the world. The best proof was their live performance during Nature One @ Pydna were they literally "blew the place to kingdom come" ! His current releases on labels like MB Elektronics & Rhythm Convert are oriented in the same way his musical taste changes, more melodic and even sometimes more dramatic music with flavors of techno, minimal, tekhouse and electro. Nowadays, Tom is busy at concentrating in his next step, to develop his "dj-career". In the near future, you can expect dj-sets with dedication and filled with energy, as known from his live-sets, to give his fans the pleasure of clubbing ! But as every self-respected artist, he will never forget his roots, so live-sets will still be part of his main occupation ! In the means of productions, future releases will certainly be done, as well as a second album together with Marco. So keep your eyes open on some new productions, because they will certainly surprise lots of people !!!

Marco Bailey: To survive in a fast moving, highly volatile scene such as the electronic dance scene is these days, perseverance and talent are just two of the very important parameters of success. Resistance certainly also counts in that way. In an era where the fast world of "EDM" unfolds in a very short time in new regions and new trends are born in a weekly mode, Marco Bailey is considered as an absolute figurehead in this business. It is indisputable that the Belgian is one of the big personalities who trust in the long-term nature of their work. He's dedicated to real honest and straight techno that is based simultaneously on progress and development.
In the mid-nineties, Marco Bailey was already successful with releases on the most prestigious labels, such as Tronic, Intec, Drumcode, Toolroom and1605. In 2012 alone he released five separate EPs on his own MB Elektronics label, as well as the acclaimed "Stella EP" (Intec) and "Jungle Laps" (Bedrock). Esteemed artists such as Adam Beyer, Speedy J, Christian Smith, Joseph Capriati, Dave Angel, Ken Ishii and Sian all remixed Marco Bailey. After his critically acclaimed "Dragon Man" LP on John Digweed’s Bedrock label in 2011, he now unveils his latest musical masterpiece at the start of 2013. “High Volume” (MB Elektronics) shows he is an artist with his finger firmly on the pulse, with twelve dynamic tracks he proves that Techno in 2013 can sound innovative and modern.
Marco Bailey will certainly win even more fans with this new project and his live performances in 2013. As always, he is passionate and full of fervour, but with a fresh attitude and even more wind in his sails. Festivals such as Tomorrowland (NL), Time Warp (NL), Awakenings (NL), I Love Techno (BE), Nature One (DE), Wire (JP), Monegros (SP) and clubs like Zouk (SG), Ageha (JP), Industrial Copera (ES), Chinese Laundry (AU) have all witnessed the amazing music of Marco Bailey. His annual guest appearances at Carl Cox "Revolution" at Space, Ibiza, are legendary. You only have to deal briefly with his person and his work and it is quite obvious: Marco Bailey fulfils all the necessary parameters.

Gayle's first steps into the London clubs were via DJing at record company parties, various one-off guest spots and fashion shows. These slots soon led to Gayle being made resident at 'Reach for the Sky' at London's Limelight club, where she played alongside global DJs which Gayle describes as "the steepest learning curve possible". Having honed her DJing skills and broadened her understanding of music, Gayle began to experiment with the harder side of dance music, particularly the lesser known techno sounds coming into Britain from Europe and the US of that time. Her chance to pioneer this music in England came when Gayle became resident at Universe's legendary Final Frontier club, at Club U.K. in south London, which then moved on to become Universe Voyager at their new club, the Complex in north London, and she was also resident at all the Tribal Gatherings Festivlas. Final frontier was widely regarded as one of the best club nights in the world, it was not long before Gayle had amassed a following of techno pilgrims who would make journeys from as far as Edinburgh to hear her play. Gayle's reputation of her 3 decks mixing skills and dj sets spread like wildfire over the techno centres of Europe, most notably a residency once a month at the legendary Omen club in Frankfurt, the socalled 'Mecca of techno' that opened doors.Other European and American dates have included some of the most underground clubs in the world, from playing at high profile parties for Prince,Chaka Khan and Kylie minogue to name a few, to playing clubs like Bionic in Detroit, Pure Pleasure parties in Chicago, Soma in Montreal, Twilo in New York, Zouk Club in Singapore, Florida 135 in Spain, Fuse Club in Belgium,M47 in Hungary and many more all over Europe ,South America and the U.S.A. In 2000 she was voted number 6. of the most popular international DJs in Germany. Remaining in the top ten list has been a regularity ever since. In regards to the massive competition of the worlds DJs,and to be the only female dj in the top ten, it was an honour of her hard work in the last years. DJing has naturally led to various studio work and starting her own label Equator. Gayle has developed a sound that takes the intelligent beats of the underground, funky/hard/groove techno sound mixed with her very own style.Gayle loves producing on her own but also enjoys collaborations with other producers to absorb outside creativity. She has released on numerous labels throughout europe .Gayle has reduced her touring dates in the last 2 years, not surprising after travelling the world for 18 years to make more time for her production /collaboration works.Gayle never fails to rock the world..s dancefloor with her mixing skills and her choice of music .Gayle has already been called the best female techno legend and she is not ready to hang up her headphones just yet.
